Well, here’s another first. I am FINALLY featured in an exhibit in The Charm City!!!! (Unaffiliated with MICA). I was scouted for Baltimore’s RAW exhibit/competition “AWAKENING” to be held at The Creative Alliance on Feb. 6th, 2014 from 8pm-10pm. RAW is a little hard to describe since it has such a multifaceted mission…so I recommend you read about it here. It currently operates in 60 cities across the U.S., Australia, Canada, and the U.K. It can be described as a competition, promotional tool for emerging artists, pop-up gallery, and fancy cocktail party. The competition aspect relies on votes. The more votes you get from each event, the more likely your chances are of representing your city in a giant RAW show in LA. In the mean time, I need to sell tickets to cover my promotional supplements and archival framing (and baby, that sh*t ain’t cheap).
