Much to my dismay, I accidentally (for the second time in a row) applied with this piece for another competition/exhibit during the same month. It was the Stephen F. Austin University National Competition & Exhibition. The curator for this show was totally understanding and said I should try again next year, especially since I’m a native Texan.
