Brune Featured on Debut Wavecore Comp

My friends at Anywave Records have invited me to contribute a song for their first Wavecore compilation that will debut at the 2013 Villette Sonique festival in Paris on May 25th. Oh I suppose I should mention my music/performance moniker for my solo work is “Brune.” You can find Brune’s featured track here.

On May 26th, I will be performing at Red Emma’s 2640 Space alongside talented artists and musicians, Liz Meredith and Jonathan Badger. Doors are at 7pm and show starts at 8pm. Admission is “$5-$10 on a sliding scale.” It should prove to be a night filled with texture, atmosphere, and brilliant ambiance.

The Vigil 2013

I had the pleasure of playing this year’s Vigil at my alma mater (Maryland Institute College of Art) on April 27th. The Vigil is an all-night music festival that runs from 7pm to 7am and features a variety of Baltimore’s music/video/sound artists on four rotating stages. I performed on the North stage at 11:30pm with a SP-404 SX, Loop Station, Electribe Rmk II, clown doll, clothes hangers, bird slide whistle, chirping cat toy, harmonica, toy accordion, and a microphone. Forage Press

I am extremely pleased to announce Forage Press has asked me to contribute a visual music review to their online publication. I have already begun working on images inspired by various projects of composer and musician, Scott Cortez. I will keep everyone posted on my progress over the next couple of months on my Tumblr.

Performance at The Red Room

I was deeply honored to have been selected to play a solo set among so many talented artists at The Red Room on November 30th, 2012. I met a handful of amazing performers and felt very comfortable during my set thanks to the professionalism and hospitality of The Red Room collective.
